14th section of the Marriage Act stipulates that \"the husband and wife have the duty to provide for each other. When a party fails to perform maintenance obligations, need to support party, has the right to demand payment of maintenance fees. ”
Maintenance obligations between spouses is mutual, reciprocal. Both between husband and wife should consciously discharge, particularly in old age, illness or incapacity of a party, living under difficult circumstances, have the ability to party, should also undertake maintenance obligations. When a party fails to perform maintenance obligations, need to support party has the right to request support.
